Support Our 2025 Christmas Gift Drive For Local Veterans
Help Homefront Heroes Deliver a Merry Christmas to Portage County's Finest This Year
This Christmas season, Homefront Heroes of Portage County is proud to support the veterans of Freedom House through our annual Christmas Gift Drive. These brave men and women have sacrificed so much for our country, and this drive is our way of showing our appreciation, respect, and holiday cheer.
From now through December 5, all donations made on our website will go exclusively toward purchasing supplies for Christmas gift bags for our local Freedom House veterans.
Each gift bag will include items needed by the veterans at the Freedom House, including:
- Bluetooth earbuds
- Phone chargers (both Android and iPhone)
- Winter gloves
- Toboggan hats
- Undershirts (Size S-2XL)
- Q-Tips
- Cologne
- Toothpaste
- Snacks/Candy
- Deodorant/Body Spray
- Shaving Cream
Your generosity directly impacts the lives of veterans in our own community. Every dollar donated on our website from now until December 5th goes right into preparing these gift bags.
How You Can Help
- Donate on our website — click the "Donate" tab and make a donation of your choice. To recognize you for your generosity, we will print out your name on specially made cards that will go in each gift bag.
- Share this initiative with friends, family, and local businesses. Visit our Facebook page and direct our flyer to others to help spread the word.
- Purchase Items and drop them off at one of our two drop-off locations (see below).
